Admission to graduate school at A&M occurs through the individual college departments and the Office of Admissions. Departments have additional requirements for admission which do not appear on Office of Graduate and Professional Studies pages. Some programs also offer GRE exemptions (see programs here). Statistical information about the characteristics of the university's doctoral programs is available for students who wish to compare A&M's doctoral programs with other institutions.

Certificate Programs
A graduate certificate program represents an emphasis area within a particular field or it could be interdisciplinary and involve several fields. Other certificate programs may exist in the various colleges or schools. Direct inquiries to those colleges. Transcripted graduate certificate programs are described further in the Graduate Catalog.
Distance Education
Texas A&M University’s Distance Education Program offers 21 graduate-level degree and certificate programs in formats accessible beyond the traditional campus—either online, videoconference or remote classrooms. Approved Distance Education degrees and certificates at Texas A&M University comply with the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board's requirements.
