How can I access National Center for Faculty Development & Diversity (NCFDD) resources?

If you are a faculty member, postdoc or graduate student, you can activate your confidential, personal National Center for Faculty Development & Diversity (NCFDD) membership by completing the following steps:

  1. Go to the NCFDD New Member page. 
  2. Choose your institution from the drop-down menu. 
  3. Select “Activate my Membership” 
  4. Complete the registration form using your institutional email address (i.e. netid@tamu.edu or netid@tamhsc.edu
  5. Go to your institution email to find a confirmation email. 
  6. Click “Activate Account” in the confirmation email.

This will give you access to free resources, including:

  • Weekly Monday Motivator
  • Monthly Core Curriculum Webinars
  • Monthly Guest Expert Webinars
  • Access to Multi-Week Courses
  • Access to Dissertation Success Curriculum for graduate students
  • Private Discussion Forum for peer-mentoring, problem-solving, & moderated writing challenges
  • Monthly accountability buddy matches
  • Access to 14-Day Writing Challenges
  • Access to the Member Library that includes past webinar materials, referrals, and readings

Texas A&M Set to Host Young Scientists Selected to Participate in the 2024 Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting

Per an agreement between the Council for the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings and Texas A&M, the university is set to support 21 exceptional undergraduates, graduate students and postdocs, eight of whom are Aggies, to attend the upcoming annual 73rd Nobel Laureate Meeting in Lindau, Germany from June 30 - July 5, 2024. On May 16 and 17, Texas A&M will host these 21 scholars for a pre-Lindau Meeting preparatory workshop. They will be joined by an additional 11 young scientists supported by Amgen, allowing for an intellectual exchange between all 32 individuals.
