Have you heard of Lynda.com? It is an online learning resource that will teach you pretty much anything you want to learn! And guess what? It is free to university students! That’s right. Just got a guitar with the expectation of being idolized by your peers [but in reality become labeled as “that guy that always plays guitars “]? Well do not fret (no pun intended), Lynda.com has got you covered.
To access you simply have to go to Lynda.com and then sign in with your organization, which will be “tamu.edu”. If you are already logged into your gmail or howdy you may be directed straight to the home page. Once on their site you can search for anything you are interested in and find out if there is a learning module or video available. Some broad topics covered include animation, CAD, programming, business, design, IT, and much more. I am planning on taking advantage of some programming courses and “time management” videos.
So go ahead and check out Lynda.com which is part of the revolution of e-based learning.
