We host New Graduate Student Orientation at the beginning of every semester to welcome new graduate and professional students to the Aggie Family! It gives us a chance to introduce our office to you and to introduce you to our campus.

Fall 2021 New Graduate Student Orientation

Friday, August 20th, 2021 or Friday, August 27th, 2021 (choose one day to attend)
Registration begins at 7:15 a.m.
Orientation from 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Location: Bethancourt Ballroom - Memorial Student Center Room 2300
Breakfast and lunch provided on-campus.
Open to all new graduate students.
Check transportation services for bus routes and parking information.

Livestream and virtual breakout options will be available for students in distance programs, students whose program location is outside of BCS, and international students who have been approved to begin their studies from outside of U.S.

Some departments and colleges have a separate orientation for their new graduate students. For information on departmental or college orientations that provide details for specific graduate programs or majors, check with your graduate advisor or other department staff.

Howdy Week Ice Cream Social

Please join us to welcome new graduate and professional students to Aggieland and start the semester off with a bang.
Who: The entire graduate community, new and current graduate and professional students, postdoctoral scholars, graduate advisors and staff, faculty, and family and friends
What: Free ice cream and popsicles, lawn games, and great conversation
Where: East Quad Lawn aka Jack K Williams Administration Building’s back lawn (between the Administration Building and the Liberal Arts & Humanities Building)
When: 3-5PM CT, Tuesday, August 24th, 2021
