The MS in Agronomy at Texas A&M prepares students for meaningful work in crop production, soil science and environmental stewardship. Through laboratory experience and fieldwork with world-class faculty, students tackle today’s agricultural challenges in industry, local-state-national governmental agencies and non-government organizations.
Why Texas A&M?
The Master of Science degree in Agronomy is available in both thesis and non-thesis options. This program is also approved for delivery via asynchronous or synchronous distance education technology. Our graduates are often employed by private companies, crop consulting firms, state agricultural experiment stations, cooperative extension service, USDA-ARS, farmer cooperatives, and state departments of agriculture and other related agencies.
