Overview

The Master of Applied Youth Development at Texas A&M University prepares graduate students to support the growth, well‑being, and success of young people through research‑informed, practice‑centered training. Grounded in positive youth development principles, the program equips students with advanced skills in program design, evaluation, leadership, and community engagement. Coursework emphasizes evidence‑based strategies for fostering healthy development across diverse youth populations and settings, giving students the tools to make meaningful, measurable impact in schools, nonprofits, community organizations, and youth‑serving agencies.
