Overview

The Master of Science in Education for Health Care Professionals (EDHP) is a professional, non-thesis graduate program designed to prepare current and aspiring healthcare educators for leadership roles in academic and clinical teaching environments. The program serves healthcare professionals across disciplines by developing advanced teaching, curriculum design, assessment, and educational leadership skills. Delivered fully online through asynchronous distance education, the program offers flexible full-time or part-time study options and concludes with an applied educational project rather than a thesis.

Why Texas A&M?

Texas A&M University’s EDHP program offers a rare interprofessional graduate pathway tailored specifically to healthcare professionals seeking excellence in education and academic leadership. The fully online, asynchronous format allows clinicians and working professionals to advance their credentials without interrupting their careers, while benefiting from Texas A&M’s rigorous graduate standards and collaborative learning environment. With options for both a master’s degree and a standalone online certificate, the program provides flexible, practice-oriented training that aligns educational theory with real-world healthcare teaching needs.
