Overview

The Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Educational Administration at Texas A&M University prepares scholars, researchers, and leaders to shape education through rigorous inquiry, policy analysis, and evidence-based practice. Offered through the Department of Educational Administration and Human Resource Development, the program features two areas of focus: Higher Education Administration and PK–12 Educational Leadership. Across both tracks, students engage deeply with research design, theory, and applied scholarship while working closely with nationally recognized faculty. Graduates are prepared for academic, research, and leadership roles in universities, school systems, policy organizations, and educational agencies at the local, state, national, and international levels.
