Overview

The Master of Agriculture (MAG) in Food Science and Technology at Texas A&M University prepares students to advance careers in the dynamic field of food science. Offered through the Department of Food Science and Technology in the College of Agriculture & Life Sciences, the program provides hands-on laboratory experience in food safety, processing, fermentation and brewing, flavor chemistry, sensory science, product development, electron beam technology, and space food systems in collaboration with NASA and private space partners. Students benefit from access to specialized laboratories and pilot facilities while developing applied expertise aligned with industry and regulatory needs.
