Overview

The Master of International Policy (MIP) at Texas A&M University is a 30‑credit, non‑thesis, mid‑career professional degree designed for individuals with at least four years of experience in international affairs or related fields. Offered in an intensive 11‑month format, the program strengthens students’ ability to analyze complex global issues, understand the dynamics of international politics, and apply advanced knowledge to real‑world policy challenges. The curriculum includes required coursework in the theory and practice of international politics and global economic fundamentals, along with electives that allow students to tailor their studies to areas such as diplomacy, intelligence, national security, international development, and regional studies. The program is offered in residence in College Station or at the Bush School Washington, D.C. teaching site, providing flexibility for working professionals.
