The Doctor of Philosophy in Health Services Research is designed to prepare students to conduct high-quality research addressing important health services issues through intensive education in research methods. Students in this program will engage in a multidisciplinary examination of the economic, social, and political forces that affect the organization, financing, and delivery of health care..

Students who complete the program will go on to careers conducting research that will influence policy and impace health care systems.

The program has a 97% job placement rate at universities, government agencies, think tanks, health insurance providers, managed care organizations, and consulting firms.
