GRAD Aggies helps graduate and professional students at Texas A&M develop essential career skills. Through workshops, advising, and events, you can earn certificates that showcase your readiness for the professional world.

GRAD Aggies Certificate Levels

Foundations Introduces graduate and professional students to core professional development skills through broad participation in GRAD Aggies workshops.

Requirements:

  • Earn 6 professional development units (PDUs by attending approved events +  
  • Complete reflection quizzes within one month of each event +  
  • Submit a final certificate reflection 
Explorations Builds on foundational skills by encouraging students to engage more intentionally with professional development across GRAD Aggies skill areas.
Requirements: 
  • Earn 6 additional PDUs +  
  • Final reflection 
Mastery Demonstrates advanced, self‑directed professional growth through high‑impact programs & activities, leadership experiences, and deeper specialization in a selected GRAD Aggies skill area.
Requirements: 
  • Earn 2 additional PDUs +  
  • Demonstrate mastery in a skill area by creating, analyzing, evaluating or applying concepts in approved activities 
  • Final reflection

Mastery Certificate Programs

In addition, there are several advanced professional development programs that allow students to demonstrate their understanding and achievements in GRAD Aggies’ skill areas and earn a Mastery Certificate in one of our six skill areas.
