Program Quick Facts
The School of Architecture offers a non-thesis program leading to the degree of Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA). The program in Landscape Architecture offers graduate studies leading to the Master of Landscape Architecture. The program is designed to develop professional specialized skills in the field and to provide a unique educational experience. Issues dealing with design process, natural resource management, behavioral response, construction, computer visualization and landscape planning are emphasized as separate specializations in response to the profession's leadership potentials.

Programs are planned to encourage applications from a variety of backgrounds. Emphasis is placed on the development of communication, collaboration and problem solving skills associated with land design issues. Students are required by the department to take an internship during the summer.
