All data entered by students is viewable by their graduate committee faculty and authorized signers from the Academic Requirements and Completion System (ARCS). Students may request feedback from their faculty committee members in annual or ad-hoc review processes, ensuring timely support for students in the graduate journey. Students may review their academic milestones and coursework and enter information related to:

  • Career goals
  • Progress on their research and creative works
  • Completed professional development opportunities
  • Awards earned

How to Access My Grad Journey

Visit the Webpage

  1. Go to My Grad Journey

  2. Log in using your Texas A&M NetID and password.

  3. Land on your dashboard

Visit the Howdy Dashboard

  1. Go to howdy.tamu.edu
  2. Log in using your Texas A&M NetID and password
  3. For your first time - Search "My Grad Journey" and click the  "heart" to favorite the My Grad Journey Card
    1. You can organize your Favorite Card by dragging and dropping them.
  4. For all the other times - Click the My Grad Journey Card under your "My Favourites" section
  5. Log in to mygradjourney.tamu.edu with your NetID and password.

  • Enhances process tracking – Faculty can view where students stand in their academic journey at any time.
  • Encourages mentoring– Allows faculty to see professional development and research activities, enabling better guidance.
Administrators
  • Reduces manual effort – Eliminates the need for paper-based reviews and tracking.
