Shadows and Light

Pursuing graduate degree can bring stress and strife,
The weight of expectations, like a sharp-edged knife.
Sometimes it feels like giving up is the only way,
Though you’ve come so far, still there’s so much left to say.

On the verge of losing hope, wondering why you took this vow,
You feel lost, and it’s hard to keep your chin up now.
Whether it’s learning how to code, or mastering your craft,
The road to expertise is often a winding path.

In graduate studies, the path can seem long,
With shadows lurking where we don’t belong.
But fear not these shadows, for they only show
That a light is shining, and we’ll soon know
That we’re not lost, but simply on our way,
To new knowledge and skills, day by day.

So embrace the shadows, and don’t be afraid,
For they’re a sign that progress is being made.
With perseverance and hard work, we will see,
The light shining brighter, as we find our degree.
So let us press on, with courage and might,
Knowing that the shadows will soon take flight.

Just one more step and one more day,
And never let the shadows lead you astray.
Believe in yourself and your abilities,
And you will be amazed by the possibilities.
So stay the course, and keep on striving,
For all the challenges you’re surviving.

And know that in end, with resilience in your soul,
You’ll emerge victorious, reaching your ultimate goal.
And when you do, you’ll look back and see,
All the obstacles you’ve overcome to be where you need to be.
The stress, the struggles, the moments of doubt,
Were all worth it, to get to where you are now.

The path of greatness, where your dreams can come true,
And the light at the end of the tunnel shines bright just for you.
So never fear the shadows, they simply mean,
There’s a light shining somewhere nearby, a future unseen.
