Final Exam Defense Request

Access the Final Exam (Defense) Request in ARCS

Instructions

The final exam request must be submitted in ARCS no later than 10 business days prior to the date of the exam.

To schedule the final exam (defense), the following conditions must be met:

  • Have an approved degree plan
  • Complete all coursework or be registered for the remaining coursework on the degree plan
  • Apply for graduation
  • Degree Plan GPA and Overall GPA must be above minimum GPA requirements.

The previous milestones must be completed.

  • Degree Plan
  • Preliminary Exam (doctoral only)
  • Proposal
  • Residency
  • Admission to candidacy (doctoral only)

Texas A&M Graduate Students Attend Science and Public Policy Workshop in Washington, D.C.  

Four Texas A&M doctoral students were selected to travel to the nation’s capital for a professional development workshop on science and public policy. Serina DeSalvio (Genetics & Genomics), Dallas Freitas (Chemistry), Alaya Keane (Ecology & Conservation Biology) and Molly McClung (Biomedical Sciences) attended the Catalyzing Advocacy in Science and Engineering (CASE) annually-held event, hosted by the American Association for the Advancement of Science, from April 14-17.
