Program Duration

The Flex Online MS-MIS program takes 24 months to complete. The program consists of twelve courses, each structured into eight-week segments, allowing students to focus on one course at a time.

Cost

Tuition and Fees

Beginning in the Fall of 2025, the total cost for Texas residents is $45,000, while the cost for non-Texas residents is $54,000. These costs are spread over six semesters, with summer semesters typically being less expensive than fall and spring semesters due to decreased fees.

Application Fee

A non-refundable application fee of $65 (domestic) or $90 (international) is required.

Deposit
Students admitted to the program must pay a $500 deposit after accepting their admissions offer, which will be applied to their first tuition payment.


Curriculum

The fully online and asynchronous program requires completing 36 credit hours (12 courses) covering advanced database management, data analytics platforms, data warehousing, data mining, MIS project management, network and cloud infrastructure, human-computer interaction, business information security, and IT security controls. Students also receive two graduate certificates in Data Management and Technical Development Management upon completion.
 

Deadlines/Intake

The application system opens September 1 each year, with a submission deadline of July 1. Classes begin in the fall semester, typically mid-August.
