Student Research Week 2023

Texas A&M's 29th annual Student Research Week (SRW) 2023 took place March 20 - March 24, 2023. Completely planned and organized by students, SRW is the largest student-run research symposium in the nation. The week-long event highlights the breadth and depth of undergraduate and graduate student research at Texas A&M.

In addition to research presentations, SRW events include expert panels, resource tables, presentations by industrial partners, research symposiums, and keynote addresses from esteemed speakers.

This year's symposium featured over 750 research prestentations, was supported by over 200 judges and volunteers. Over 1,400 attendees filtered through the second floor of the Memorial Student Center to see poster and oral presentations. SRW 2023 was the first iteration of the symposium to implement digital rubrics for scoring. Prizes were awarded in graduate and undergraduate categories for both poster and oral presentations, with first and second place winners in nine subject areas. Four overall winners were honored with first place prizes, one each for best undergraduate and graduate poster and oral presentations.

Organizers say SRW has been a valuable tool in meeting the university’s mission of academic, research and service excellence.

However, after digging a little deeper into the colloquial understanding of the hustle, I see where my rigidly negative view of hustling hindered my ability to make peace with myself.
