Final Exam Exemption Request

Instructions

(Only an option for students in programs that allow final exam exemptions). 

To request an exception, the following conditions must be met:

  • Degree Plan GPA and Overall GPA must be above meet or exceed GPA requirements
  • All coursework on the approved degree plan must be completed or in progress
  • ​No open requests in DPSS

These following milestones must be completed prior to requesting a final exam exemption:

  • Degree Plan
  • Proposal
  • Residency

If conditions are met and required prior milestones are complete, select "Exemption for Final Exam," then fill out information when prompted.

Texas A&M Graduate Students Attend Science and Public Policy Workshop in Washington, D.C.  

Four Texas A&M doctoral students were selected to travel to the nation’s capital for a professional development workshop on science and public policy. Serina DeSalvio (Genetics & Genomics), Dallas Freitas (Chemistry), Alaya Keane (Ecology & Conservation Biology) and Molly McClung (Biomedical Sciences) attended the Catalyzing Advocacy in Science and Engineering (CASE) annually-held event, hosted by the American Association for the Advancement of Science, from April 14-17.
