Can I choose who will hood me at graduation?

Yes. Typically, your faculty advisor or committee chair performs the hooding at commencement. Approximately one month prior to the Doctoral Commencement Ceremony for a given semester, applicants for graduation will receive an email from with detailed information about the hooding process.

A select group of young scientists gathered at Texas A&M University last week in preparation for the upcoming 73rd Nobel Laureate Meetings in Lindau, Germany.
