THIS MONTH'S FEATURE:
2023-2024
Three Minute Thesis Competition

Interested in sharpening your research focus, improving your presentation skills, and better communicate the significance of your research for prospective employers and the general public? If so, now is the time to start planning your fall 2023 Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) presentation. 3MT® is a research communication competition developed by The University of Queensland. Graduate students have just three minutes to present a compelling oration on their research and its significance to a non-specialist audience. 3MT® represents an invaluable professional development opportunity.

Currently enrolled Texas A&M master's and doctoral students, IN ALL DISCIPLINES, who are engaged in original research are eligible to participate in 3MT®.

Early in fall 2023, the Graduate and Professional School will be hosting "How to Develop Your Research Elevator Pitch" development sessions in preparation for the 11th Annual Three Minute Thesis Competition (preliminary and final competitions upcoming in October and November). Development sessions are available to any college, department, or graduate student organization. To schedule or for questions, email grad-aggies@tamu.edu

You can also find out more about 3MT® on the Grad School website.
