Future Faculty Fellowship

program description

The Future Faculty Fellowship (F3) Program provides professional development training to A&M graduate students, enabling them to become competitive on the academic job market and position themselves for early-career success. The F3 program is administered in partnership with the Graduate and Professional School (Grad School) and the Center for Teaching Excellence – Academy for Future Faculty

Lea Poellmann delivered the top presentation in Texas A&M University’s Three Minute Thesis (3MT) final. Poellmann’s “Mapping the Hidden Threat to Man’s Best Friend: Heterobilharzia americana in the Southwest,” bested nine other finalists and a record pool of 85 preliminary competitors to earn both the overall title and tops in the doctoral division.
