Howdy!

Greetings, graduate and professional community. It's an exciting time of year! The weather is warming up, daylight lasts longer, and another academic year is coming to a close. We all get excited for the end of a semester and the prospect of summer, but it's a particular exciting time for our spring graduates.

Yes, May is commencement month here in Aggieland -- a time to celebrate our students’ achievement in completing their academic programs and look to bright futures. The May ceremonies are the largest hosted by the university.

Last fall, the university combined the master’s and doctoral ceremonies into one graduate commencement ceremony. This month, over 2,500 master’s students and 240 doctoral students will walk the stage in two ceremonies hosted by the Graduate and Professional School on Saturday, May 13, at Reed Arena. Overall, the College Station campus will host eight commencement ceremonies from May 11-13.

Students, faculty and staff can find important information about commencement at graduation.tamu.edu. Congratulations to our graduates! We look forward to seeing everyone in the graduate and professional community on May 13!

Cheers!
